From Niki -- The House is Buras

Hey
there good folks,
An interesting thing about this home in Buras that seems to be
THE LAST HOME standing is----it was built by Red Cross after Camille
devastated the same town. A few others had been built there as well but
the family said they had been demolished by other houses and what have
you (trees, cars, refrigerators, things like that) crashing in on them.
This Family home had nothing on it except some old Easter Bunny figures
on the outer wall and a decorative wreath (not Christmas) on the back
door. In the living room there is a small china cabinet with delicate
figurines standing--without cracks,-- just some mud and smudges.
Furniture, appliances and other house hold goods--a mess tumbled about
the house and the China cabinet stands! Who'd a thunk it!!!!!
