Update from Slidell Peace House

It has been a good day today. Valerie and Holliie handed out all the
blankets to folks iin Biloxi as well as canned food and can openers.
The Super Heros--ten folks on bikes complete with capes--worked on the
camp and finished gutting a house in town for a lady we met the other

Update from Niki at the Peace House in Slidell

12-20-05
Hey folks,  Niki here in Slidell, La. Ann, Holly, Ken, Justin and I have just completed the work on the second house on the bayou. I should say we have finished gutting and sanitizing (de molding if you will) We are putting the upper cabinets back and rebuilding the kitchen counter as well as the bathroom counter. Patrick with plenty is coming down with a new(used) stove with an oven that works. We will set the rebuilt one in Meg's House-that is the green home we are working!
