Just
spoke with Robert Deutsch. He is leaving almost
immediately to do some sanitation work in
Cambodia. He does not have the time to get
photos to us from his recent trip. He says he
is really glad he went. He "got the bug" and wants to
go back. He and the other three in his party
worked almost the entire time on Florence's house. It
is almost finished. They hung the kitchen
cabinets, laid the counters, finished installing all
the electrical fixtures and plugs, did all the
subfloor drain lines and hot and cold supply lines,
tied into the water main, layed sheet vinyl flooring
in the kitchen, installed an oversized
handicapped access shower for Florence (that another
group donated), and more. It feels so good
to have yet another local crew working down
there thanks to UPR keeping the
fire burning!
